INSTALLATION
WALL MOUNT OPTION
STEP 1
Insert your thumb or finger under the opening on the back cover and firmly pull up to remove. This cover is not needed for wall mount.
STEP 2
Press tabs on the bottom of the panel and pull apart to remove the back plate and then install your mount to the wall using your screwdriver.
Note: The IQ Panel must be installed not more than 5 metres away from the entrance point. This is so there is interaction between your Danalock and the IQ Panel. You will need a z-wave repeater
STEP 3
Hang the front of the panel with the hanging strap on the back plate [the front in this case will mean the touchscreen part of the panel].
STEP 4
Connect the power cord to the power point at the back of the panel, while still hanging from the strap.
STEP 5
Latch the bottom of the panel into place, ensuring the power cord is routed into the wall and not pinched.
STEP 6
Swing the panel upward and then snap the tabs on top by firmly pinching “diagonally and down” from the top front of the bezel at all 4 snap tab locations to ensure proper closure. You will hear a “pop” or “snap” sound when each tab has closed properly and the gap along the top should be tightly seated.
Important: Note that not properly closing the panel could result in damage to the backplate or false panel tampers.
STEP 7
Your IQ Panel is ready to be configured.
TABLE STAND OPTION
STEP 1
Insert your thumb or finger under the opening on the back cover and firmly pull up to remove.
STEP 2
Plug in the power cable, into the jack next to the terminals.
STEP 3
Route the cable under the hook next to the battery and then through the strain relief opening.
STEP 4
Replace the cover by inserting the top first, making sure the cable passes under the opening provided and firmly press down on the bottom until the cover “snaps” into place. You should hear a ‘click’ sound when the latch goes into place.
STEP 5
Insert the table stand into the mounting holes and push upward until it snaps into place.
