PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The PowerG Digital Pet-Immune PIR Motion Detector Sensors ( PGx914 ) is a smart dual-function indoor PIR motion detector that offers reliable motion detection and temperature monitoring performance, in one easy-to-install and attractive device. With built-in PowerG leading-edge wireless technology, the PGx914 delivers proven motion detection with superior immunity to false alarms. It is compatible with the PowerSeries Neo alarm system
The PGx914 provides exceptional intrusion protection with superior immunity to false alarms. The ability to distinguish between intruders and other disturbances, as well as humans and pets, ensures higher reliability and reduced false alarms Uniform detection sensitivity is assured across a wide operating range.
The PGx914 also saves time with simple installation and maintenance, thanks to an easily accessible battery compartment and longer battery life.

INSTALLATION STEPS
Before installation ensure you;
Keep away from heat sources.
Do not expose the device to air drafts.
Do not install outdoors.
Avoid direct sunshine.
Do not install near high voltage electrical lines.
Do not install behind partitions.
Mount on a solid stable surface
BATTERY INSTALLATION /REPLACEMENT
Step 1
Press in the point marked "F" in the drawing and separate the cover from the base. Do not use a screwdriver.
Step 2
Insert the battery while observing polarity-OR- If the battery is already installed, remove the activation strip that protrudes from the back of the detector.
Step 3
Return the cover to the base until a click is heard (the snap is closed)
MOUNTING THE PIR MOTION SENSOR
There are three different ways one can mount the PIR.
Surface Mount: This is mounted using the flat plate bracket. It is used when the sensor is to be mounted on a flat surface

Align the detector with the bracket.

Slide the detector upward until a click is heard.
Step 4
Secure the detector with the screw
Corner Mount: This is mounted using the corner wall bracket. It is use when the sensor is to be mounted on cornered wall

Mount the corner bracket on the wall.
Step 2
Secure the detector with the screw.
Step 3
Align the detector with the bracket.
Step 4
Slide the detector upward until a click is heard.
Mounting using Adhesive Tape:
Step 1
Peel away the release liners from the double-sided sticker.
Step 2
Place the sticky part carefully on the PIR motion sensor and apply pressure on the sticker evenly for 10 seconds.
Step 3
Peel off the second part of the sticker and place firmly on the marked mounting position.
Step 4
Hold the sensor firmly in position for 20 seconds for a firm stick.

Press on the stopper snap to release the base from the bracket

REMOVING THE PET MASK
Users can always remove the plastic pet mask (the plastic guard) if you do not require pet immunity.
Step 1
Place your thumb at the base of the Pet Mask.
Step 2
Place your fingers at the top of the pet mask
Step 3
Lift the Pet Mask to remove.
CONFIGURATION
ADDING YOUR MOTION DETECTOR TO THE IQ PANEL
Step 1
Press or swipe down the clock display at top for Settings Tray then press SETTINGS.
Step 2
Press ADVANCED SETTINGS then enter Installer Code 1111
Step 3
Press INSTALLATION then DEVICES
Step 4
Press SECURITY SENSORS then AUTO LEARN SENSORS
Step 5
To learn/enroll the sensor press the button labelled ‘A’ in figure below.
Note: To manually add the motion sensor press ‘Add Sensor’ the input the Dl ID found on the body of the detector.
Step 6
Press OK to confirm
Step 7
Enter sensor information then press ADD NEW to save then HOME to exit
Sensor DL ID: Don't touch this option
Sensor Type: Select “Motion Detector”
Sensor Name: Select an appropriate name or create a "Custom Description"
Chime Type: This allows you to apply a specific sound to your device
Sensor Group: Set this to "17"
Voice Prompts: Leave this alone
